The study was made in large population of Irish Wolfhound breed, but ALL findings are applicable for all breed, including shar pei! Findings in various human population studies, combined with preliminary data on 9,356 Irish wolfhounds, strongly indicate that the potential for longevity contains inherited components. If we want to have longevity dog progeny, way how to go and main recommendations are easy.
